I've been thinking that he's not totally there as well. It wouldn't surprise me if this explanation was the case.

Have you seen this article on ol' Bill?

http://www.drmcdougall.com/misc/2008other/080412clinton.htm

There's at least a few doctors speculating that he has noticeable brain deterioration after his heart bypass surgery a few years ago. Not sure if I buy it as the sole reason for his strange behavior as of late, but its an interesting theory.

If only Obama could be as uplifting and optimistic as George W Bush...

But hey, we Democrats have to take what we can get.

There are people who are bitter and angry all over the USA in large cities and small towns alike. We are bitter and angry because we have been lied to and deceived by the most corrupt and divisive President we have had in decades. We are bitter and angry at the lack of respect the current Government has demonstrated for our privacy, our civil rights, and more importantly, our troops, by sending them into a senseless war. We are bitter and angry because our economy is going down the tank. Yet, our jobs are going overseas. We are bitter and angry because the corporate owned media prefers to perpetuate mudslinging and propaganda as opposed to reporting the news, meanwhile turning our presidential primary into a joke. So yes, we are bitter and we are angry, and with good reason.

The time has come for thinking America to resolve our inner-party differences, put forth a nominee, and focus on securing a Democratic Whitehouse come November. God knows it’s the best shot we have at repairing the damage done by the current (mis)administration and returning her to her former glory.

Signed,

Another Bitter, Angry American.

I am continually amazed by candidates like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton who dwell on what is wrong with America and rarely offer a viewpoint on what is right with America. Do they really hope to become president by bemoaning how miserable life is in this country and will remain until they can bring 100% government control to the situation? Apparently they do.

When will the Democrat party learn that the American public by and large want a president who wants to lift up America and not tear it down?

Whether old Democrat ideals or new Democrat ideals the underlying message is always the same: MISERY of the people, by the people, and especially for the people. No thanks!

Thanks for the visit.

And yep, we're excited to arrive in Ottawa. God willing all the paperwork will be sorted out by mid-July. We're ready.

We're coming up next weekend to look at houses, so it looks like we'll just miss the tulips. Oh well.

I gotta say, the back story of the tulips is amazing.
